Cats and dogs and Rabbits are at risk from a number of nasty infectious diseases; thankfully it is possible to protect our pets by giving them regular vaccinations. It is important to note that not all vaccinations on the market are not of the same quality, we regularly perform a review of our vaccination protocols to ensure that our patients receive only the safest and most effective vaccines.
Cats and dogs may be vaccinated from 12 weeks of age. We recommend that a course of 2 rabies injections are given separated with an interval of 2 weeks. Currently the rabies vaccination must be repeated every three years or according to the date stated in the passport.
Rabbits may be vaccinated from 6 weeks for Myxomatosis and EHDV at a cost of £32.40.
