Veterinary Surgeon

Cameron BVMS, MSc, PhD, MRCVS Lead surgeon

Cameron is our Head Veterinary Surgeon at Arthur Lodge. Qualifying in 2008 from Glasgow University, Cameron leads our team with vast experience in general practice, surgery, scientific research, endoscopy and regenerative medicine (stem cell).

Having spent many years working as a vet in both general practice and referral clinics, Cameron performs many of the orthopaedic and endoscopy procedures at the surgery and also mentors our surgical team.

You will often see Cameron locally walking his Spaniel Duke who can be found in many of our client and training video’s!

Veterinary Surgeon

Hannah MRCVS

Hannah is our Advanced Practitioner at Arthur Lodge Veterinary Surgery. With a specialized certificate in small animal medicine and soon completing her second certification in Veterinary Dentistry, Hannah brings a wealth of expertise to our team.

Known affectionately as “Hannah the Scanner,” she is our go-to for most ultrasound scans. Her dedication to precise diagnostics and compassionate care ensures every pet receives the thorough attention they deserve.

Ben-BScBVSc

Ben joined our team in April 2025 to help us take our service offering to pet owners in Southwater and Horsham to the next level.

Graduating from Bristol University in 2013, aside from an internship at Fitzpatric Referrals, Ben has spent his career caring for sick pets in the county of Sussex.
Areas of professional interest and experience for Ben are internal medicine, neurology, soft tissue surgery and dentistry.

When previously based in large hospitals Ben gained vast experience in hospital wards, emergency and critical care plus internal medicine.
Now preferring to focus on high level first opinion care, you can also find Ben helping our 24 Hour Vet Care team at Arthur Lodge on his weekends.
In the future Ben is excited to start an advanced qualification in small animal dentistry.

Away from the surgeries Ben enjoys spending time with his family and his own pets consisting of a Border Collie and a French Bulldog.

Gemma BVSc MRCVS

Gemma graduated from the University of Surrey in 2021 and after moving to the Horsham area, she joined our Arthur Lodge Surgery in 2023. Bringing much passion to our experienced team Gemma loves consulting and is happiest when spending time in her consult room seeing clients old and new for sickness advice and health checks. Whilst Gemma’s skill is highly relationship based, she is also an extremely competent soft tissue surgeon and dentist with a passion for diagnostic imaging.
Gemma can mainly be found working within our hospital team but does enjoy time out at the branches meeting new pets.

Senior Veterinary Surgeon

Kiran BvetMed MRCVS

Kiran is a senior member of our vet team who can regularly be found at our main branch in Horsham. Kiran is an advanced surgeon and general practitioner who undertakes many complex soft tissue surgeries and orthopaedic procedures. A previous successful surgery owner, Kiran now works part time to see clients bonded to him over many years together with mentoring our general practice team to progress their skill and experience.

Natalia MRCVS

Natalia graduated from the University of Pisa in Italy in 2010 and has been working in the UK since 2015. She has a masters degree in Veterinary Oncology and is passionate about oncology and emergency care. Natalia is able to create personalised plans for our oncology patients ensuring they receive the best support and care throughout their treatment. Natalia also has a postgraduate diploma in small animal pathology and certificate in small animal endoscopy and endosurgery. She is an incredibly experienced vet who has undertaken considerable continued professional learning to ensure she can offer your pets the best care.

Anastasiia MRCVS

Anastasiia, originally from Ukraine, graduated in 2017 from Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences in Poland before moving to England with her husband.

She has a special interest in small animal dentistry and is passionate about helping pets and their owners.

Outside of work, she enjoys dancing, reading, and spending time with her family and cat, Spin.

Jonti

Jonti grew up in Perth, Australia, she qualified in 2022 as a Veterinary Surgeon in New Zealand where she lived for 5 years.

Her special interests are in cardiology and diagnostic imaging, where she is currently developing her skills.

Back in Australia, Jonti has a Border doodle called Billie. In her free time, Jonti is very active, going on frequent hikes and rock climbing.

Janke

Janke qualified from the University of Surrey in 2023. After this she worked for a year and a half in Chesire before deciding to move South to get married.

Although spending much of her life in the UK she was born in Richards Bay, South Africa. She can speak Afrikaans fluently and does so with her family.

Janke’s special interests include surgery, specifically soft tissue. But she also enjoys consults and building client relationships.

She enjoys swimming, paddle boarding and keeping active. She got married in June 2025 and lives with her partner and her elderly ginger cat named Charlie.

Reece

Reece graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2019 and began his career as a mixed animal vet in Oxfordshire.

His passion for emergency and critical care led him to move into small animal out-of-hours practice in 2023.

In his spare time, he enjoys hiking and running with his two labradors, Echo and Barley.

Simon

Simon grew up in Johannesburg South Africa and qualified in 1999.

He moved to the UK in 2000 and started 2 small animal practices with his wife.

Simon has a passion for general practice with special interests in ultrasonography and

He has 2 daughters, a cat, a corn snake, and many fish.

Night Veterinary Surgeon

Szymon

Szymon graduated from university in 2017 in Wrocław Poland. He then moved to the UK the same year to start his journey as a vet.

He has had many interesting jobs and hobbies over the years, one to note being a camera man at the horse races in Poland.

However, he now works as one of our night vets. His interests are mainly in emergency and critical care and small animal surgery.

In Szymon’s spare time, he has an interest in mechanics, trains, and cars. He also loves to cook.

Jo RVN Head Nurse

Jo qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2001. Whilst Jo is a brilliant experienced all round nurse her key interests include small animal anaesthesia and dog behaviour. Outside of work Jo enjoys walking her three dogs, gardening and art. Jo looks forward to welcoming you and your pets to the practice.

Kerry RVN

Kerry qualified in 2002 at a first opinion practice in Horsham. She then moved to North Wales, where she served as the head nurse at a veterinary hospital overseeing multiple branch practices. Upon returning to Horsham, she continued working at a local practice until taking a break to look after her children. Kerry joined Arthur Lodge at the beginning of the year.

Kerry has a passion for anaesthesia and is currently pursuing an Advanced Diploma in Bereavement Counselling. She believes that caring for our companion animals includes their final moments and that owners deserve guidance and understanding during these times.

Outside of work, Kerry enjoys music, reading, and dabbling in gardening. She has a mischievous cat named Hattie, whose favorite pastime is biting people if she doesn’t get her own way.

Eloise qualified as a veterinary nurse at the beginning of 2024, having gained many years of experience within the industry. Throughout her training Eloise has developed a love of emergency and critical care work and is hoping to study further to increase her knowledge in this field. She joins us as one of our dedicated night nurses. She rides a motorbike and has a bearded dragon. She hopes to travel the world one day!

Jemma RVN

Jemma joined Arther Lodge Vets part way through her veterinary nurse training in January 2023. She qualified shortly after and has been working here as a Veterinary Nurse ever since.

She grew up on a farm in South Africa and enjoyed riding horses. Being involved in community work in South Africa allowed her to gain experience working with animals and thus spear headed her journey to move to the UK and start training as a Veterinary Nurse.

At home Jemma enjoys spending time with her two lovely dogs Toby and Poppy and her cat Piggle.

Laura has been an RVN for the past 16 years. She previously has worked at many charities around Portsmouth and London.

She joined Arthur Lodge Vets in November 2024 as a member of our night team. Her favourite part of nursing is patient care and emergency and critical care.

Outside of work she enjoys going on runs and baking.

Bonnie

Bonnie grew up in South London and qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2022 from Middlesex University.

She is very interested in anaesthesia and analgesia and often assists in organising our more complex procedures such as orthopaedics and stem cell therapy.

Bonnie and her partner have 2 dogs; a cocker spaniel called Buck and a rescued English Bulldog named Lola.

She loves going on adventures with Buck and baking in her free time.

Amber

Amber grew up in Sussex and qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2025 from Middlesex University. She loves being a Nurse and especially caring for emergency and critical care cases.

She has a special interest in exotic species, especially reptiles. She owns a ball python named Kevin.

In her free time, she plays cricket and hockey and used to play hockey at a very high level. She also enjoys travelling the world, Singapore and Bali being two of her favourite trips. She would love to travel to Australia one day.

Tatiana

Tatiana qualified in 2023 as a Veterinary Nurse from the Royal Veterinary College. She then went on to do a year of further study in preventative dental care research and emergency and critical care.

She joined Arthur Lodge Vets in September 2024. She enjoys working with exotics and wildlife as well as cats and dogs. Her favourite part of nursing is in patient care. Especially our long-term critical care patients. It is so rewarding to nurse a very sick patient, see them gradually get better and build a relationship with them and their owners.

She would like to gain more experience in minor surgeries and plans to do CPD soon.

Outside of work she enjoys playing polo, riding horses, and going on walks. She is also an avid reader.

Laura RVN

Laura qualified as an RVN back in 2007 and over the years has worked in everything from charity practice through to referral work.

Her passion lies in emergency and critical care which led her to gain her vets now ECC certificate in 2019.

Outside of work, Laura has 2 dogs, 4 cats, 2 teenage children and a husband that keep her busy. When she does get a bit of down time, then she enjoys listening to music, or reading.

Sarah RVN

Sarah has been nursing for over 30 years!
In this time, she has seen many changes in the veterinary world. However, she is still very passionate about her role as a veterinary nurse.

She has worked in many areas of practice including orthopaedic, emergency medicine, nights, days, large animal and equine, exotic and general practice.

She has also travelled to Nepal with an exotic vet to help a variety of injured wildlife including rhinos and elephants.

Sarah best enjoy X-rays and orthopaedic procedures and is also passionate about working as a team.

Outside work she is kept very busy with a son and husband who both do motor cross and other sports. She also rides horses, motor bikes, kayaks, mountain bikes and goes to boot camp twice a week!

Felix

Felix qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2024 but has been working in and around the veterinary field for 7 years.

They enjoy working with emergency and critical care patients and triage. They also enjoy laboratory work like microscopy, urine, and blood work.

They have 5 cats called Frank, Jasper, Sora, Ricu and Puff who keep them busy. They also Morris dance in their free time for fun.

Jenna

Jenna started at Arthur Lodge in 2015 doing work experience while she completed a Level 3 Animal Management Diploma and has been a full time kennel assistant since late 2017. She enjoys getting to work with a variety of different animals and working in the lab. In her spare time she enjoys going to concerts and the movies.

Ameer

A committed member of the Twilight Support team at Arthur Lodge Veterinary Surgery, dedicated to delivering exceptional care for pets and their families, with interests in Soft Tissue Surgery and ECC.

Ameer, a DVM graduate from AUP (2021), founded Pakistan’s first mobile veterinary service during COVID-19. He later worked as a Poultry Vet on one of the country’s largest GP projects before moving to the UK to further his career and work towards RCVS accreditation.

Ameer has gained valuable experience through extensive training with one of the UK’s largest veterinary groups GP Hospital and has completed specialist courses in Biosafety and Biosecurity with the Frontline Healthcare Workers Safety Foundation.

Outside of work, Ameer enjoys traveling, developing IT skills, and participating in community development projects.

Claire

Claire has been with Arthur Lodge since February 2025 when she joined as our Head Receptionist.

Claire joined because of her love for animals and client communication. She always has a smile on her face and is the first to strike up conversation if it is not too busy. Which is fantastic as she is often the first person you will see as you walk through our doors and the last as you leave.

Previously, she was a police call handler so is well equipped to take on any phone call.

In her free time, she enjoys cooking, reading, and drawing. She also spends her days with her chihuahua Arnie and Sphinx called Sybil.
