Your 24 Hour Vet Team

Veterinary Surgeon

Cameron BVMS, MSc, PhD, MRCVS Lead surgeon

Cameron is our Head Veterinary Surgeon at Arthur Lodge. Qualifying in 2008 from Glasgow University, Cameron leads our team with vast experience in general practice, surgery, scientific research, endoscopy and regenerative medicine (stem cell).

Having spent many years working as a vet in both general practice and referral clinics, Cameron performs many of the orthopaedic and endoscopy procedures at the surgery and also mentors our surgical team.

You will often see Cameron locally walking his Spaniel Duke who can be found in many of our client and training video’s!

Veterinary Surgeon

Alan MVB MRCVS

Qualifying in 2016 from Dublin, Alan first appeared at our main London Animal Hospital in 2020 to help our day time Vet Team during the Covid Pandemic. We quickly realised how passionate and skilled Alan was with Critical and Emergency Care patients and upon the opening of our 24 hour service, Alan was delighted to join our Hospital Team to be available to our clients and their pets permanently.

Before joining our award winning team, Alan had been practising in a large hospital in London since 2019. Prior to moving to London Alan spent his years post qualifying in some extremely busy clinics in Ireland, England and Scotland treating both large and small animals.

Whilst Alan’s soothing voice is charmingly calming to our sick patients, his clinical interest remains in Emergency and Critical Care medicine for those pets urgently requiring his help. Did we mention that Alan is also an extremely skilled soft tissue surgeon?

Away from the hospital Alan likes enjoying spending time with humans too, cooking for family and friends, playing tennis and watching team sports.

Veterinary Surgeon

Stefano DVM MRCVS

Stefano joined our team with extensive experience, having qualified in 1998 and worked for many years in the UK, previously owning his own surgery in Wales. With a background full of experience in surgery ownership and advanced general practice care, he has since enjoyed the focus and skill that night time emergency and critical care brings.

While he enjoys all areas of veterinary medicine, he has a keen interest in orthopaedics and general surgery.

Outside of his professional commitments, Stefano enjoys cycling, sailing, and beekeeping. His varied interests and extensive expertise make him a valuable member of our team.

Veterinary Surgeon

Matt MRCVS

Matt qualified in 2003 and has spent a lot of his career so far working in Croatia, Ireland and the UK. Having a very strong interest in surgery Matt will shortly be undertaking an advanced qualification in this discipline. Outside of the operating theatre Matt enjoys the fast pace of emergency and critical care consultations where any emergency can be presented and cared for.  Matt is a valued member of our dedicated night team seeing all emergencies whether medical or surgical.
